CASTING, PROPS AND COSTUMES
CASTING, PROPS AND COSTUMES
When looking for models for my adverts, I wanted to uses both genders and different ethnicity's. So for my adverts I used both a male and female model. However due to the availability, I was only able to photograph white caucasian.
Age: 16Reason why they were chosen: Hannah had been chosen because I thought she was able to represent my typical ' Essex girl ' look within my adverts. She was used in 2 of my adverts one being the delivery driver and the other being an Essex girl getting ready on a night out.
Name: Louie
Age:17
Reason why they were chosen: Louie was chosen because I thought he could represent a typical 'lad' watching the football and eating a takeaway. I think this represents the company as being social and up to date with all sports and lifestyle.
Props;
The props I will use are takeaway boxes from various fast food branches including pizza hut, McDonalds and a local takeaway. I also used makeup.Costume:
The outfits will require a red shirt for the takeaway driver. Joggers and a coat to show a stereotypical Essex lad and a toweling robe for a girl getting ready.LOCATION SCOUTING
Location scouting -
First location -
My first location is a plain simple bedroom. This will be where I capture my female model getting ready for a night out eating takeaway food.
Second location -
This location is where I will picture some food with a close shot on a table and have some taking a piece of e.g - pizza or bread
Third location -
This location will be in a lounge, with a male model on a sofa eating his takeaway and watching the football.
Fourth Location -
My final location is where I will have my delivery driver in the car with the food about to get out and final deliver 'your food' to the customer.
AUDIENCE RESEARCH AND FEEDBACK
Audience Research
Socio-economics - GEARS

Region (Regional identity)
Social Economics
Ethnicity - I will aim to use models from different ethnicity if they are available to show that my service shows equality and no discrimination.
Age - My target audience ranges from the ages of 15- 25 I will show this by using bright colours and my logos being targeted to younger audiences such as using celebrity endorsements from popular youth TV shows.
Region - The region of this advert is targeted towards people from Essex and I will represent them in various ways. Such as Orange colour that could represent 'fake tan'. Essex slang as tag lines and celebrity endorsements from the typically stereotyped show 'The Only Way is Essex.
Social economics - For my advert I will target people from upper, middle and working class due to them being the ones who would be in a financially stable sate to order takeaway and other expenses for leisure. I will also target students due to the stereotype that they are to lazy to cook and only eat takeaway food opposed to home cooked meals as well as eating takeaway as a comfort food.

Feedback -

Summary:
My survey was answered by 17 people who all identified to be the target audience which is 16-25. 82.4.% of the respondents where also from the region of Essex so are reliable to relate to the stereotypes shown and approaching the audience correctly.
The research showed that over 50% of the respondents would order from the service 'your food' based on just mock up adverts which is a really positive feedback. I also found that the majority around 71% also thought that the use of humour to show a standard stereotypical boys vs girls night out worked really well. However when asking whether they thought the adverts were gender neutral, the majority of respondents said no.
I plan on using this research to further develop the design of my adverts to meet my consumers wants and to happily satisfy my target audience, therefore meaning that the service 'your food' will have higher profits and better market research.
